Setting the Direction

Phase Two has already begun

Setting the Direction is an important project to create a new framework to ensure Alberta students with special education needs get the supports they need to be successful.

Phase one consultations for Setting the Direction officially ended on December 31, 2008. During phase one input was gathered from approximately 3,500 Albertans who represent the views of students, parents and guardians, teachers, teacher assistants, school administrators, school authority staff, school board trustees, community support organizations and health care professionals.
